Insurance & Payment Options

Understanding Your Payment Options

This section provides information about insurance and payment options. We understand that managing these details is important, and we want to ensure you fully understand your choices.

We operate on a private pay basis only and do not accept insurance directly. However, most insurance plans offer out-of-network benefits that may cover a portion of your session fees once your deductible has been met.

Payment is due at each session. As an out-of-network provider, we will provide you with a receipt/superbill for each session that you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. It is advisable to check with your insurance provider about your specific coverage for mental health services.

If you would like to investigate the possibility of reimbursement for out-of-network coverage, please check your policy carefully and ask the following questions of your insurance provider:

  • Do I have behavioral health or mental health benefits?
  • Does my plan have an out-of-network benefit?
  • Do I have a deductible, how much is it, and has it been met?
  • After my deductible is met, what percentage of the fee does my plan cover?
  • How many mental health sessions per calendar year does my insurance plan cover?
  • Do I need authorization to begin outpatient therapy?
  • Is approval required from my primary care physician?
  • How do I access the form(s) needed to submit a request for reimbursement?

At Aspire to Change Therapy, we aim to make the payment process straightforward and convenient for our clients. We value transparency and want to ensure that you have a clear understanding of our payment policies. Below, you will find information on how to make payments for our services:
